Building and Leading for the Mission
Aerospace & Mechanical Engineer (UCF ’24) focused on practical design, clear communication, and high‑reliability systems.
About
Who I am and what drives me
I’m an aerospace engineer who loves building things that actually work — whether that’s a SolidWorks model, a new tool, or a full system coming together piece by piece. I’ve spent a lot of time designing mechanical parts and figuring out how to make complex ideas simple and practical. I like projects where I can mix creativity with engineering, and I’m always looking for better, cleaner ways to make ideas real.

Where I’ve learned by building
Design Engineer · Crew Tool
Sep 2024 – Sep 2025
Crew Tool is a precision tooling startup supporting aerospace manufacturing. As Design Engineer, I focused on mechanical design, ergonomic tooling, and high-reliability drawing practices.
- Engineered precise pneumatic systems to regulate sealant gun pressure, balancing safety and performance under tight tolerances.
- Ran in-depth quality inspections using FT-IR, Hexane testing, and dimensional checks to validate tools against spec sheets.
- Built purpose-driven tools for aerospace sealant application and removal, shaped by user feedback and field use cases.
- Redesigned legacy tools to improve ergonomics and ease-of-use for operators without sacrificing performance.
Lead Engineer · Airgroup Dynamics Inc.
May 2021 – Sep 2024
Airgroup Dynamics provides repair, overhaul, and tooling services for aerospace clients. As Lead Engineer, I oversaw CAD, prototyping, and documentation of custom tools used in high-precision jet component repair workflows.
- Designed custom tools that sped up aircraft maintenance workflows, cutting task time by 20% in high-throughput environments.
- Produced detailed technical drawings under ASME Y14.5 standards and developed in-house drafting conventions.
- Set up a small-scale additive manufacturing lab to rapidly prototype concepts and troubleshoot tooling issues on the fly.
- Improved internal diagnostics and documentation for FAA compliance, from hands-on QA to capability audits.
Engineer Intern · Florida Space institute
Jan 2021 – May 2021
FSI is a research center focused on advancing space technologies in Florida. During my internship, I contributed to student outreach and supported program development focused on technical preparation and retention.
- Helped simulate lunar surface conditions by designing and fabricating regolith experiment components used in cryo and microgravity tests.
- Contributed to NASA-aligned research exploring how regolith reacts to impacts and collisions under space-like constraints.
- Developed procedures for assembling and testing experimental hardware used in live lab environments.
- Worked alongside faculty and engineers to merge academic research with hands-on engineering problem-solving.
